Hello, it's been awhile! Way too long.

Anyway, here's whats going on. I promise it's art related. Although the first part of this is going to be a financial sob story.

For over thirty years my Aunt has owned a tobacco warehouse in south chicago called A.R.P. With the taxes on cigarettes, and the recession going on, A.R.P was shut down, and my entire family was laid off (because it was a family business, mostly). Thats not the part that makes me sad. My aunt has worked all her life for this business, and now it's completely shut down, with all thats left to show for it being 3 million dollars of debt. She doesn't have a choice, she is losing her house, and all her money. My mom was laid off as well, giving us no income. I had spent the last several months in a hospital, being treated (lets just say I had a temporary bout of insanity)..I finished my treatment and now the hospital has ME in debt, with no way of paying it off because during treatment I was not employed. My treatment was worth it, but the money is bringing me down.

So things look bad. Moreso for my aunt, who is inconsolable. And she does not deserve this, being the nicest person on the planet and one of the only people to stand by me during my hospital time. Its breaking my heart to watch her go through this, to lose EVERYTHING she's worked for over the past 30 years. The worst part is even though I am stable enough to help her out, I cannot, because now my immediate family is also losing money. I am broke.

What this boils down to is, I started drawing commissions for people. I have made roughly 80 dollars for drawing pinups of husbands wives, for Valentines Day. After that, it might get slow again. If anyone is interested in a pin up, please let me know. I am going to start posting my art again, because its the only means of income I have, and I work VERY hard on it. I do not charge much for the work I do. Any money I make goes towards bills and helping my aunt out. So if anyone can help, and is interested in buying some artwork..please let me know. If not, I'll still post some new things, just because.
